Saltwater Shores Team is a Port Aransas real estate team led by Laura Staves, partnered with Coldwell Banker Island Escapes and serving Port Aransas, Mustang Island, North Padre Island, and Corpus Christi.   

Laura Staves is a licensed REALTOR® with 8 years of sales experience and more than 25 years in the real estate industry, including residential sales, new home construction, commercial construction, and property management. The team has completed over 100 real estate transactions totaling more than $40 million in career sales, averaging 18 transactions annually over the past five years. Approximately 75% of their business focuses on short-term rental and investment properties, with expertise in beachfront homes, luxury properties, resort-style condos, and income-producing coastal real estate. Laura Staves has earned 25 five-star Google reviews and maintains an active Zillow profile with verified transaction history.  

 Carl Staves brings a wealth of experience with over 30 years in a business-to-business sales industry, a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising and intimate knowledge of the construction process from his own building projects.  Carl joined The Team as a licensed Realtor® and works with both Buyers and Sellers to navigate the process from start to finish at the closing table.  Carl and Laura both believe that the relationship with their clients never ends.  They are always in touch and available to provide information in regards to local contractors, city council news, and local ordinances.  

When not working with clients, you might find Laura & Carl enjoying the sunset views from the Port Aransas City Harbor & Marina or walking their dog, Stevie Mae, on the beach.
